All appliances next to a countertop must be installed
Fabricating countertop
Signed template will be placed on granite by fabricator who will determine best
placement. Granite with variations may require purchaser to attend layout session at the warehouse.
Installing countertop
Existing countertop & sink must be removed by purchaser’s contractor
Existing faucets must be disconnected by purchaser’s contractor
Installer will install undermount sink. Faucets & other accessories must be installed
by purchaser’s contractor
Installer will seal granite countertop on site
Finishing the countertop area
Any special backsplash is installed by purchaser’s contractor
Bracing to support overhangs must be installed immediately after countertop
installation
Dishwasher, cook tops, etc. must be installed by purchaser’s contractor
Maintaining your granite countertop
Reseal annually. Sealer protects your granite by delaying the absorption time of
liquids
Granite cleaner is recommended
Wipe up all spills immediately using mild dishwashing detergent & water. Wipe dry
Do not use household cleaning products that containing lemon, vinegar, ammonia, bleach or other acids. Cleaners such as
Mr. Clean & Fantastic will harm the sealer
Do not use abrasive cleaners or polishers not specifically designed for natural stone.
Do not place extremely hot pans directly on stone surface — use a trivet
Do not use countertop as a cutting board. Sharp knives will scratch the surface.
